Site of what is perhaps the most famous gunfight to have taken place in the Wild West, the OK Corral stands even today as a monument to this bloody confrontation that left three men dead and three more wounded. Fought with Morgan, Virgil and Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday on one side and the two McLaury and three Clanton brothers on the other, the October 26, 1881 fight has come to represent the fight between lawful good and unlawful evil. Visit the site where the fight took place, see life-sized figures of the gunslingers, learn about the events that led up to this brief, vicious outdoor showdown and see a daily reenactment of the fight at 2:00 p.m. The corral sits just off main street in the heart of Tombstone, surrounded by a number of Wild West-related shops and attractions.
Open daily 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
